This marinade will add a lot of flavor and plenty of tenderizing power to whatever you’re grilling up. I personally love to use it to marinate chicken for Greek Wraps.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh squeezed lemon (can use fresh lemon juice instead)
  • 1/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp chopped oregano
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Method

Step 1

Mix all ingredients except oil together.

Step 2

Blend until smooth in food processor.

Step 3

Slowly add oil while blending.

Step 4

Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.

Additional Tips

The marinade can be stored up to 2 weeks.

It is always handy to keep old bottles around to store things like this, but, it is always important to label and date things so that you know when it was made and when it will go bad.
