Pesto Pasta Salad (Cold)

Ingredients

  • 1 container Pesto or one batch from the recipe section here.
  • 1 box Pasta
  • 1 can black olives
  • 1 small container grape/cherry tomatoes
  • 1 container of fresh mozzarella
  • about 15 large fresh basil leaves
  • 1/2 cup pecorino / parmesan cheese

Method

Step 1

Boil your favorite pasta (I suggest a bow tie, rigatoni, shell, or spiral pasta)

Step 2

While waiting for the pasta to cook, cut the tomatoes in halves, cut the olives in thirds, and chop the basil

Step 3

Once the pasta is cooked, combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Add salt and pepper to taste.
