I was born and raised in Buffalo, NY where the winter sky is grey and the ground is icy, but the summer sky is a baby blue and the grass is a luscious green. I have had the absolute pleasure of relocating to Phoenix, AZ where I met the love of my life, Carl, who is also a fellow contributor to this website. I am a GIS technician by day; cook by night! I have met a great many of friends here in Phoenix, and two of my most amazing friends are co-conspirators in the creation of this website. It is hard for me to come up with these recipes only because, typically when I cook, I don't measure, I add a bit of this and a dash of that. Before I posted these recipes, I tasted and I sampled and I focused before writing something down. Ultimately, our goal is to have a sort of live, limitless cook-off with the other couple that contributes to this site. We love them and we "hang" with them and one day you will see the four of us in a cook-off; stay tuned; good eats to follow!
