Sriracha Honey Drum Sticks

Ingredients
- 10-12 Chicken drumsticks - skin on
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, plus more for the pan
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Honey Sriracha Sauce
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Sriracha
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly coat a large rimmed baking sheet with vegetable oil. Dry the chicken with paper towels and place in a large bowl.
Step 2
In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, the melted butter, granulated garlic, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
Step 3
Pour the mixture over the drumsticks and mix well to coat. Spread the drumsticks in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake the drumsticks until browned and crisp, about 55 minutes. Carefully turn after about 30 minutes.
Step 5
Meanwhile, make the honey sriracha sauce. Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat.
Step 6
Add the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce and lime juice and stir until the mixture bubbles gently. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Step 7
Once the drumsticks are golden brown, carefully drain the clear juices from the chicken off the baking sheet, and pour 2/3 of the sauce over the drumsticks and turn your oven to broil.
Step 8
Continue to cook the drumsticks for another 5-10 minutes; just long enough to lightly char the sauce to the drumsticks.
Step 9
Carefully remove the drumsticks from the baking sheet and transfer to a large bowl. Pour the warm sauce over the drumsticks and gently toss to coat.
Step 10
Transfer the drumsticks to a serving platter and serve with remaining sauce, or drizzle with more honey; serve with lime wedges.
